Hi

I'm not even sure this is a bug, but I wanted to report it just in case I'm missing something.

Today, I was working on my BETA site that uses 7.6 patched and NukeSentinel 2.1.1.

I was working on my autotheme and when I clicked on a function from the admin panel, NukeSentinel banned me with a Filter abuse.

Being surprised, I went into the DB and deleted the ban, and then found the only way to prevent this was to add my specific IP address to the Protected IP list.

Is this normal? If it is normal what I'm wondering is if there is a way to have NukeSentinel identify the current IP address of the admin and protect it automatically when the admin is logged in (I've actually been thinking that it did this already.. but this may just be another 7.6 issue.. but I'm just not sure)

Thanks!

Was this on your local PC using localhost or 127.0.0.1 or a network with 192.168.*.*?

No, this domain resides on my commercially share-hosting domain.

Is the IP in the reserved range table? If so, please advise as to what that range is.

No, neither the server (domain) nor my client IPs are in the Reserved range table.

Please PM me the IP. Thanks. And you checked the IP's that you block and it wasn't in there?

Well no, generally speaking, I try not to block my own IP.. lol, that would make it tougher to work on my site, though I do love a challenge.. Smile

I did find it there once it blocked me (after I started editing my theme through the admin theme function). I deleted the block in PHPmyadmin and then added myself to my protected list.

I'm sending you a copy of the email which will have all of the pertinent info.

Smile

Thanks Raven!

It's the string 'cmds' - NukeSentinel traps the word 'cmd'. There are several posts here about it with work-arounds.
