Im sure its something Ive overlooked but if i keep looking only to overlook any longer Im going to loose my flipping mind. Ive seen others with the same issue that haven't received any help so maybe its not something i broke :p

I upgraded from nuke 7.0 - 7.5. Even tried with 7.6. I cant add admins through ACP.I can edit them, I can hit to "add author" and be told to enter a name. However, putting in an admins info leads me to a white page.

Ive deleted all the relevant files from upgrading and overwritten/uploaded those that needed to be. Ive gone as far, to make sure I didnt miss something, deleting the entire admin directory and putting in the upgrade's admin folder and still the same issue.

Anyone have any ideas on what could be causing this?

Check your server error log. A blank page usually indicates that you aren't displaying errors but they are going to the log. Further, it often indicates that there's a database table issue, i.e. column count doesn't match an sql query.

Thanks more of a response then ive gotten anywhere else. None of my error logs contain anything to to with it.

Nothings changed table wise since i was last able to do it. Installed the files ran the upgrade scripts everything looks fine. Im at a complete loss and its really starting to become a hassle Sad

That happened to me also, and it was as he said,
an extra row in the nuke_authors table that was
left over from the calendar module (admin). Once I
deleted it, the problem went away.

I wasn't using that calendar anyway, since the upgrade to 7.5,
and now with the calendar security issue....
(thank you Raven for posting that alert)

When you did your upgrades, did you remember to run each upgrade in sequence?

Ye sure did :\ Raven

And my table structure is intact. I could always delete and re create it but im fairly confident that thats not the issue. Ill give it a shot though since Im kind of out of ideas..

lol for future reference I found the problem. Id kind of suspected it and after its removal all is well..

What was it? Of all the places to say it but it was "Protector" :p Just never got around to putting up sentinel on my gaming site but have installed it a couple dozen times on external sites. Guess Its about time I put it on mine aswell :p

It looks like it is really Protector... Too bad, I like that add-on...

I found this thread in the Protector site, I tried to do the recommendations that they have and no luck:
