hmm wake up i d say,
it is still the same cookie offcourse.
its just an extra check to make sure its one and the same
as for DThds (case sensitive)
strtolower= like this (undercase)
strtoupper= LIKE THIS (uppercase)

which looks good to me.

if its still giving errors as for logging in lets hear it
my guess is that you didnt load the files up well.
or got corrupted at overwriting .

although havent got time yet to look at phpnuke 76 yet...

so cant be any more especific.

I've tested with PHP-Nuke 7.6 Patched 2.6 and have no issues what so ever. The error sounds like an edit went wrong and removed a { or } .
