I've installed the GT_Distro_10-22-03 on my phpnuke powered site but seem to have a problem with the module and need an expert's advise to figure out why.

1) I've installed the module by editing every original file required by GT
2) Cut/paste the .htaccess included in the GT tap and placed it in my home directory ( /www/)
3) The Mod_rewrite module is enabled in my httpd.conf as required
4) Permissions on /www/.htaccess are 755.

I've also downloaded the GT Mod_rewrite test file and it too says that the rewrite module is either not configured or not enabled on the server.

In my search to find out why on earth its not working, I found the following errors in my httpd error.log file:

[Sun Oct 31 03:16:58 2004] [error] PHP Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /home/site/public_html/header.php:32) in /home/site/public_html/includes/page_header.php on line 532

along with alot of similar messages.

I am running Phpnuke 6.9 with the latest security patch fixes and Sentinel.

Is anyone able to provide any help ?

Thank you.

You have I assume replaced the header.php and footer.php files, correct? Sorry for asking, it just wasn't in your list.

^most usually that is what has been forgotten.

If you have done the above then download 0.4a and go from there.

That's odd ... I edit the header and footer files and inserted the code required but that didn't seem to work and was the problem.

After replacing the files with the ones provided by GT, it worked!

Thank you both for your time and help!

p.s I have noticed a slow down in the page's generation by the GT tap.

Dean,

I'm really not sure as to what your referring to. I've simply downloaded the GT 10-22-03 distro and installed it. You and TheosEleos refereed to a 0.4 version which I am not aware of.

Can you please let me know where I can obtain it from and what the difference with the one I already have is?

Thanking you in advanced.
