Since upgrading to Sentinel 2.0.1 I've had mega problems with the forum permissions.

What's happened so far and how I discovered it was I needed to demote an Admin to a moderator. Put the Admin Mr X into the Moderators group, went to check Mr X's permissions and he was still able to get into the Admin forum Couldnt change the permission as there was no 'disallowed' in the drop down box. And I noticed on the user permission page for Mr X in the small drop down box at the top it still had him listed as Admin.

Then today I went on my forum and saw that the group Club Members all had moderator rights to all forums except Admin

Went into Forum Group Permissions and reset it.

This has only happened since I updated Sentinel, and I realise it may not be Sentinel causing it, but can't think what else would have as I haven't done anything else on the site except try to get the WIW working last week, and gave up so deactivated it. lol

The permission thing is worrying tho.

*edit*

Here's the link to the other person (TheosEleos) that is having exactly the same problem as me.

Thinking about it I uploaded mainfile url folder patches at the same time.

So it could be either or neither but the problem only occurred after those 2 things were updated.

Muffin,

NukeSentinel should have no affect on your Forums admin panel. With that said I will check my Fourms admin panel and see if there are any stranges things going on it just to be sure.

Muffin,

Didn't I have you comment out the Sentinal includes line to verify that Sentinel was not involved? It's that easy to determine if Sentinel is in confilct.

Yes you did Raven and Sentinel wasn't the problem.

I think we were thrashing this forums problem out in General/Other Stuff.

I was hoping you could delete this thread, but Bob answered before you had a chance (I know you've been rushing around like a headless chicken the last few days). Shocked
