As the error message stated: the eregi function was DEPRECATED in PHP 5.3.0, and REMOVED in PHP 7.0.0. Many old third party modules and addons have outdated code like this. This was the reason why I started the patching of the core package.

The big question is, if you really need this old block-file and you are not able to clean it, please post also the affected codeline. I don't have all addons from the last 20 years of php-nuke to compare it.

Sommaire addon is really nasty in my eyes. Take a look.

It needs a good treatment and clean code.. Shocked

I checked the files and it makes no sense to patch it because it needs a cleaning of each single codeline. I know this script from my first tries with PHP Nuke in 2002 and it has always been buggy. Now it would have to be cleaned up completely, so that a new development would take much less time. Give it up!

You have other ways to create a simple navigation-block with links to your used modules. You can create a simpe HTML-block with the block-administration and add custom hyperlinks with the ckeditor. Or with a llitle bit know-how in PHP/HTML you can create an hard-coded block-file. At the end it shows only hyperlinks in a custom order.

I use the same module and bloc "functional" (we will say) but for the forked phpnuke "php-maximus with 5.3 version.

Maybe can you compare and adapt for your cms.

gravutrad, this will have the same old code-base and as I stated before, you have other ways to create a simple navigation-block with links to your used modules. PHP7 has a big difference to PHP5, that is the reason why the old codebase will not more work. Wink

Yes i know. I was only saying this for "lzservers" if he wants a base which works (but needs to be readapted for his nuke base).
