Hello,

I'd like to block all IP's from Russia and China. Is there any easy way to do this?

Also, under the Nav/Menu on the main page, it tell how many visitors are online. When I click that it pops up and shows only say 6 even though 50 maybe online. Is there anyway to change that?

You could use NS, but I always just did a deny from the IP ranges from the offending countries. You should be able to find many examples on the internet of updated deny from lists for the countries you want and just paste them at the bottom of your htaccess file.

I was able to find IP ranges but didn't know how or where to paste them as a whole. So do I actually have to put "deny from" in front of all the IP's because I found a site that lists all the IP from each country, but it's a ton of them.

Update: I found a site that includes the deny from. So all is well.

Thank you for the info using the .htaccess

Will the IP's I add in the .htaccess show up in my cpanel banned IP menu?

No.

was just curious because I added IP's via cpanel and some matched what was already in the .htaccess file. didn't know if they worked together.

Thank you again
