When trying to login, both user and admin, or register a new user, I get the internal server error on a white page. I've search on here and cannot find a solution.

I am running Ravennuke 2.20.01

The site has been running fine for years.

I'm not sure if the host/server has changed anything or not.

I have disabled and renamed the htaccess files in both root and phpnuke root, but it did not help.

Here is the error log:

Code:

Someone/something tried to access files that did not exist (or could not be found due to server issues) and the server could not display one of the built in server error messages.

The only one that needs investigating is the 500 error - this is a critical error and could be caused by anything from a faulty .htaccess file or even just the mysql server being down.

You really need to keep your software up to date or these minor niggles will be the least of your problems.

You are definitely right, something has changed... whether one of your files or something with the host. If nothing has truly changed with your site (I've heard that comment made MANY times and then come to find out the individual did make a change... so, just make sure nothing has changed), then you will need the help of your host to understand what else may have changed or gone wrong. Guardian is absolutely right - the 500 error is most likely the true issue...
