Updating WHM cpanel - MYSQL 5.5

Hello all, having logged into my cpanel and then phpmyadmin it explained it needed upgrading but to do that my servers cpanel also needed updating which added mysql 5.5.
Can anyone tell me if Ravennuke 2.51 works ok with the latest WHM server updates ?

5.5 is not backwards compatible in some areas so we have chosen to NOT upgrade our servers at this time.

Ok Raven, I shall not update upgrade at this moment in time.
