Before anyone says this has already been answered or question why I bothered asking... I didn't find the answer or I wouldn't ask and what I am working on is important enough to want to work on it today rather than spending more time looking. Not that the great people in this forum would behave as people elsewhere, but I have had some bad experiences.

I came across an interesting and worth while cause that I would like to copy their widget to a block on my RN 2.5 site. Reference this link for what I want to block... http://www.definition-of.com/_/WebMaster.aspx

I obviously am not a regular coder anymore and don't know what I am doing. If someone else thinks this would be a good idea to support would you write a block for this or give me instructions on how to go about making their block work with RN2.5?

I have tried and just get a block with code in it. Is this one of those times that it would be proper to save their code to a file and put that file into the blocks folder by FTP?

Problem solved by copying their code to a file and naming it "block-something.php" and saving to the blocks folder by ftp rather than using the new block menu.

otassembly, first of all, welcome to the forums here. There is definitely a wealth of questions/answers in the forum, so glad to hear you did try to find first.

Second, glad you sorted this out. I do usually find creating a new block file to be the easiest and most consistently successful method of incorporating code into blocks like this. But, that is just my opinion and experience, and every situation can be different.
