Hey all-

Can't stress enough how much I hate internet explorer. Such a pain in the butt.

I'm working on a new slick gallery for RN and I'm about at my wits end trying to debug an issue with the problem child. I'm getting an error on the page... "Object Required"

and I can't seem to figure this it out. Of course... Chrome & FF have no issue with it.

Is there some sort of tool out there that will help me to start to narrow this down in I.E.?

Note* Have this issue in both IE 7 & 8... don't care to support 6

I've run into this type of thing on several occasions. IE's error debugger isn't real intuitive, but can give you some more info (sometimes)
Tools > Developer Tools > script tab > start debugging

If no info, It could be conflicting with another script on the page. Try disabling all JS scripts that arent required and see if that fixes, if so add them back one at a time until the offender is revealed.

OR

depending on how large your JS script is, you could Replace “$()” with “jQuery()” throughout the script and see if that helps.
