Hiya!

After being hacked a couple of times, I've installed phpnuke 7.3 (ok) and then your NSN_Sentinel_100. I hope that I followed the instructions ok... but (although I'm logged in as admin) when I try to enter Administration, I get rejected.
Also, when I run nsnst.php I get this:

NSN Sentinel: ERROR
Sorry, ONLY super admins may run this script

I've done what I can, so would most appreciate your advice.

Cheers!

Is your admin account a "SuperUser" admin account? The scripts check for that level of admin status before letting you in. If it is then I will do a little more testing on my local 7.3 .

Thanx for the assist Wink

I've never seen the term 'SuperUser' or 'super admin' b4, so I cannot say that's my status. In phpMyAdmin authors, I am listed as Admin and God.

An error log has been created in root:
PHP Fatal error: Call to undefined function: update_points() in .../includes/counter.php on line 54

Cheers!

There is a field called radminsuper and it must be set to 1. Let me know if it is and we'll procede from there.

Just for grins and giggles, confirm also that in the users table your user account has a user_level of 2.

Was set @ 1, just reset @ 2. Same probs persist: I can log in as user, but not enter Administration, and nsnst.php still returns error.

Then it is not recognizing you as a superadmin. Can you log into Nuke administration and select Edit Admins and see your name in the list of Admins? When you select your Admin name, is the last box checked that says Super User?

I deeply appreciate the time and effort you've made to help. I think that the problem lies within my installation of the site - which was 7.1 upgraded to 7.3 - not your security system. The same errors re-occured when I built a new system this morning, and the error lay in the upgrading.

Reinstalling phpnuke is a matter of minutes and therefore I feel that I should do this, rather than ask you to continue.

The new site (not upgraded!) is [ Only registered users can see links on this board! Get registered or login! ]
I have just made it and installed your security system - it works perfectly Smile

Many thanx - this will save all of us a lot of effort.

Cheers!
