Hard to tell. I'd be surprised if it's down and out. More likely just down; possibly hacked? I hop over there every once in a while to see if anything has changed and there haven't been any changes of any matter since FB sold it. Btw, welcome to the site/forums! |

I heard about a week ago it was hacked...not too sure but probably was... Then I saw it come back the day before yesterday, didnt last very long...
Just out of curiousity, what does the "new" creator think he has in store for 9.0, or what possible changes could be made to bring it back to life? |

LOL... I wonder...is he even aware of Raven? Does he sit there coding as FB did, totally clueless...
I could see that heading in the right direction though, but then Nuke would be a fork of RN... Or wait, is it already...anyways. |

My understanding was that the new owner(s) aren't/weren't coders. That's why they were advertising for someone to code the "new" version that never came to be (can we say "Vaporware"?). And, not to beat a dead horse, but FB wasn't really a coder either. He may have gained some insight over the years but most of the code that phpnuke evolved into was made up of code that he had misappropriated (notice I didn't say steal?) over time, usually w/o credit being given. And, what security got implemented was from others.

The part that puzzles me is that FB made a very serious offer for my theme site about a month before he sold the phpnuke site. Was he planning on just getting into the theme business or what? |

Well, nukecops.com had been down for last two days, as well.
Is this a sort of trend to keep into downtime for a while?

Even though it came back, it has been almost defunct. For last >1.0 year they protend "the phpnuke 9.0 will be available soon," but no news for last >1.0 year. |

I suppose thats only a marketing trick or strategy.
The change is high that there will be not many interests for 9.0. |

I bet 100 quid that the new owner will take RN and rename it to phpnuke 9.0 |
