I imported it into my current nuke database. I then realized that I did NOT create its own table. Is that an issue? I am getting errors that it does not have the proper permissions but I "assumed" it would use the same info as the nuke install since its in the same table.

If you ran the .sql file in your current nuke database, you should see (by default unless you renamed it) a table called config. (Because it was such a dumb generic name I put it in its own database). What is complaining about permissions? The ipnppd.php script? The config.inc.php file you must fill out correctly for your setup.
