Hi all,

i have 2 similar problems and that is that the forum scroll and xfire scroll not working properly under firefox while under IE there isnt a problem.
the blocks sometimes dont even scroll and when they do after couple of secs they jump back to the top again...
Over at clanthemes they said its a ravennuke problem and that there might be a fix for it.
i left the xfire block on the site so u can see what i mean [ Only registered users can see links on this board! Get registered or login! ]
Also i like to change the background color to black but where i do that since the one in style.css doesnt do it.

thx in advance for any help

Regards,

Okay, the xfire one doesn't stop when you hover over it, but your forums scrolls for me in Firefox.

A lot of these scrolling blocks use non-standard techniques and have CSS or HTML errors which prevent it from scrolling under XHTML (which is what RavenNuke is using).

If you send me the blocks (PM me for my email) I'll look at it (when I get some time). But like I said, the forums block is scrolling in my Firefox (version 2.0.0.8 ).

Just to close the loop on this, I have sent iceyy some corrected block files that now work under RavenNuke. I had to correct many problems including missing HTML tags, illegal HTML attributes, converting attributes to lower case, using quotes in attributes, using the $db abstraction, etc. Anyway, the moral of the story is that XHTML is more strict and sloppy code breaks easier under it.

Since others may want to use these blocks and modules with RavenNuke, it would be nice if we could make these changes available somewhere...(here?). Thoughts Raven?

BTW that XFire module creates a ton of notices and probably isn't XHTML compliant either (I just fixed the one side scrolling block).
