i logged in with the admin info and tried to change the admin password. onc ei changed it it said that i was banned and now everytime i try to change anything in the panel it kicks me out and sends a reporting email to myself. how can i fix this? i really need ot get in there quick to update some info but i can't

nevermind i should've searched first. i seen that deleting the cookies fixes the problem, and it did

My friend gets this same behaviour with his site.

Logs into admin. But if he tries to click a link he gets booted back to the admin login.

He has cleared his cookies multiple times. And tried both IE and Firefox.

He can log in with his daughters machine (Same subnet different IP) AND I can log in from mine 3000Kms away.

I believe it might be an issue with HIS computer and I am only writing this because once we find out what is causing it we can report back and hopefully contribute alternate solutions to this problem.


FIX!!!

He was using CA Internet Security Suite (Apparently RoadRunner gives this out free) to protect his computer.

He did a IP Allow and everything works great now.

I hope this helps SOME people using firewalls and other securities.

kold, thank you so much! We are starting to see more and more of this I am afraid, along with emails getting dumped into the spam bucket... It is an unfortunate world we have turned into...
