Data Center Outage Today

To All Clients, Members, and Visitors:

GNAX data center experienced a building-wide outage at approximately 6:50 Pm EST today. This comes directly from the data center:

Apparently Switch and Data, the building that "is home to the Southeast's largest concentration of telecommunication companies" had a power outage affecting one of their main PDU's.

GNAX DC2 (where most of our servers are located) is at that location, so there were many service providers including Bellsouth and whoever else gets routed through that Atlanta Hub that had problems as well.

Raven Web Services apologizes for any inconvenience caused and please know that this was out of our direct control and numerous other hosting service providers were affected.

I appreciate that it wasnt your fault, nor anything you could do.
I think our site was only down for about 45-60 minutes, am glad to see the data is intact though.
If anything it was a good test.
