solved it by reading the 200 attacks a day thread ....

Hey all - amm getting this abuse information with a number of different User Agent versions
/5.805,
User Agent: libwww-perl/5.65
User Agent: libwww-perl/5.803
etc .....

How are these blocked using .htaccess and what exactly is / are these User Agents ??
