i am trying to set up a block for a feed from espn, but it does not seem to work. I went to blocks and gave the block a title then I enterred the url of the feed, however the block has no content. Am I supposed to do something else? The block is at maysvillesports.com towards the bottom of the page

What URL did you use for the feed?

That feed might not work with Nuke, which has a pretty limited capability for reading feeds. You might want to try using the My Headlines addon, which might enable it to work.

Just to back up what Kguske says, one of my first "projects" with Nuke was looking into the newsfeed code which is in mainfile and duplicated in blocks and triplicated somewhere else if memory serves. I thought it would be great to have cycling news feeds on my site but I kept getting these "there is a problem with the block" messages. The problems occur on two sides. One is that many feeds don't exactly conform to the standards and there are unescaped quotes and other nasties embedded in them at unpredictable intervals. The other side is in Nuke where there is virtually no error checking so that if some bad text gets put into the SQL it just bombs out without warning except for the "your block isn't working message". There are two many other good solutions to fool with what's in Nuke at present.
