multiple voting in surveys

I wonder if it is possible to use the surveys block to help run an online competition.

An example of what I mean is if u have 5 songs on your website and I want users to vote for the best song.

Firslty I wonder how you can tell which song a user has voted for and how u can keep track and make sure they do not vote more than once.

The other thing is I want to award a prize to one of the people who voted for the winning song and again I wonder how I can tell which users have voted for any particular option in the survey/competition?

(e.g. if song number 5 received the most votes it would therefor win and I want to choose one of the registered users/people who voted for song 5 and award them a prize).

Also how do i stop people voting more than once and keep track of which registered users and user ID number has voted for different options in the survey?

please can someone help me out here?

If you search the forums here, you can find tweaks / hacks to prevent multiple votes (e.g. by requiring user ID and modifying the votes to track that). But it might be easier to look at an alternative survey tool like edogsopros (if you search you can find this, even through the author's site is down).
