There is an updated (secure no changes) version of MeG that Xia did a while ago demo here [ Only registered users can see links on this board! Get registered or login! ]

Its lacks some language definitions and takes a little dinging to install. Also it uses the older type of admin files. In fact it really needs updating but I like it once its done. Why? it fits into nuke nicer since its written as a original module not hacked in.

Has the security of this release been verified or is it just assumed?

Your best bet would be to search and/or ask for help at [ Only registered users can see links on this board! Get registered or login! ]

I found a coppermine 1.3.1c module for phpNuke at [ Only registered users can see links on this board! Get registered or login! ]

Before I try to install this, is it the general opinion of the RN crew that this version is safe (respectively)?

I've had a quick search around and there would still appear to be vunerabilities in this version.
