News problems

I am having trouble with news topics.

If a standard user goes into a news post (clicks on read more...) they get the following.

Sorry, this Module isn't active!

I havent disabled the news, so I have no idea what it is doing.

Has anyone seen this before?

Well, you do have to active the news module. I don't see it in your left-hand Modules block too, so it is not activated.

Well that was a strange thing, I looked through my modules to find that news was inactive, but when I tried to click on activate it wont let me (as its in italics). I went into the db and set it active in there, but I have no memory of deactivating news on the site (and I am the only one with access).

Did you make any changes to your site recently, like adding NSN Groups? If so, and it's not done correctly or complete, it can cause problems with modules administration.
