64BIT.US Releases First Syndicated News Module for PHP-Nuke 7.x
Modules
64bitguy writes "

Yesterday, http://64bit.us released the first Syndicated News Module for PHP-Nuke 7.x Originally developed for CPG-Nuke by Alex Mottram, this now fully functional solution for PHP-Nuke 7.x (still 'defined' as "Beta" software) offers the ability to provide RSS Newsfeeds in a separate module, versus having to use blocks on your homepage. While the module is still undergoing many improvements, users are welcomed to see it in action as well as download it via our site. We do want to mention that due to bandwidth constraints as well as security concerns, you MUST Register as a member prior to either accessing or downloading this module.

Some of the features of Syndicated News include:
o Display multiple feeds on one page.
o Create blocks with multiple feeds.
o List your newsfeeds in a block. You also have the ability to define:
o The RSS/XML feed's Name and Description.
o The Number of stories that you would like to retain for each feed.
o The refresh time for each feed.
o A maximum number of "tries" for each feed before the feed becomes automatically disabled. As always, we encourage and invite others to suggest (and/or provide) modifications to improve on this work. Questions and comments should be directed to our new dedicated Syndicated News Forum
