3. Due to various factors which I am not prepared to discuss in the public arena I cannot and will not recommend that you buy that product - it is available free (or almost free) under GPL on various websites.
To be fair to the script, it still offers exceptional functionality that has yet to be matched by any other phpNuke module so it is with regret that I have to publicly dis-associate myself in this way - but my reputation is important me and takes precedence!

Guardian was right on the money to say that eSolutions is an exceptional product and I had high hopes that it would really help my website. But after paying 150 Euros (almost $300 CAN) in Sept. for some simple modifications to be done, I was left high and dry with nothing more than empty promises. I tried to be patient, I tried to give Luck the benefit of the doubt but, by the beginning of March, I had had enuff. So I opened a public forum thread demanding either my money or my mods. A few other users picked up on this and, since they weren't receiving any support from the original author either, it just snowballed from there. After 6-7 weeks, when I finally decided to offer eSolutions on my website for a nominal $10 CAN to recoup some of my losses, Luck finally decided to pull the plug on the forums. As of this post tho', it is now available for free at mykaraoke.ca. Go ahead, Luck, sue me. Report me to whoever you want. Give me a target to go after 'cause you can be damn sure that I'll be going after a lot more than just the $300 I spent for those modifications. Hats off to both Guardian and hitwalker for putting up with all the hassles they must have gone thru on behalf of eSolution's author. It's a damn shame that it had to come to the point where they both had to publicly disassociate themselves from this excellent product. Both of these gentlemen worked really hard in support of eSolutions and by the looks of things, they were screwed over just as bad as many other people were. Those looking for a subscription module shouldn't be left in the dark. I found a great module at www.westernstudios.net. Tho' not as sophisticated as eSolutions, it does the job well, has great support, and there are plans to expand it. Check it out if you haven't already. CanPanther |

well said CanPanther, yes its a shame this happend. But i think it has all to do with money. looking at the sales he didnt sell much of esolution,if you count the many hours of work....he wasnt earning that much on it... And a few months ago he already was playing with the idea to dump the nukeroyal website. Luck has 1 problem and thats money,he loves it,and would screw anybody for it to. Even i was part of his support (as much as i tried) together with guardian. And even i got a few mails from customers asking for help.. My main loss is the work,as i had an agreement with him,so basically he ows me atleast 2000 euro,thats about 2571 dollar,or 2825 can dollar...etc.. Isnt this a bit private? Yes it is,but its also to show with what kind of person were dealing with. So does luck deserves an original phpnuke death penalty? Yes he does.... |

Ouch! That makes my $300 seem like peanuts compared to what you have lost. I'm guessing that Guardian probably lost quite a bit too. I'm really sorry to hear that you were hit that badly after dedicating yourself and working so hard on eSolutions. But you can be proud of the work you did. You guys put together an excellent product and no matter what, nothing will change that fact. I really tried hard to keep it private. It took months for me to go public with it and I really didn't want to. I even went so far as to ask Raven permission to advertise that I was offering eSolutions for $10 on my website. But I never followed thru with it 'cause I had already made myself look enuff like a whining idiot in Nuke Royal's forums. It's time to just let it go and kiss my money and my mods goodbye and hope the module from Western Studios will meet my needs when the new version is released. With both you and Guardian posting this, I felt I had to put in my $0.02 worth, just so people know it's not just a couple of people who were effected. Both of you were the main support for eSolutions and to have you guys walk away from it like this speaks volumes. People have to be warned in public so they realize what they are getting into if they should purchase eSolutions. This is definitely a case of 'Buyer Beware'. It's too bad too since eSolutions was such a great module. I really hope someone will come along and pick up where Luck left off. It would be a shame to let eSolutions die like this. CanPanther |

Well what happened to my $300 bucks i sent you and the extra $10 bucks for your protection.. Yeah i helped with ideas and you added but you never made my Betting module that i paid you $300 to start then you disappeared and shit... And those locked forum bull crap nothing would ever get answered...
