phpMyAdmin 2.8.0-rc2 is released [2006-03-02 10:17]
this Release candidate 2 kills a few bugs and removes the need of a .htaccess file in the main directory (which was there as a workaround on servers with session.auto_start set to 1).
please travel over and get your copy at the developersite phpmyadmin.net
