Beta testers wanted. Feedback requested. Auction-LM is an Auction listing manager that allows users to upload up to 5 images and pre design the layout of their ads for use on Ebay like auction sites.
Auction-LM is run on the original zClassifeds engine and is more a compilation of classes then an original application. I've heavily modified the user registration process and changed the entire structure of the admin console. Some of the additional features are: (Click Read More)

• Styles selectable for each ad 30 or so styles included
• htmlArea2 for ad design
• Built in security filter with auto ban mode ability
• Users are authenticated by php 2 sessions based on hashed values and a cookie hash value all 3 values must be present
• Passwords are stored using MySQL AES_ENCRYPT
• KSES filtering is applied to user $_Post variables
• Users are givin 1 category at registration and can only post in their own categories
• Users can create and delete subcategories under their primary category (Must create at least one sub-category before making an ad or this option disappears)
• Many more additional features including popular tools MySql Php Backup and WizMySQLadmin

This is very beta code and since I was primarily doing this for my own use it is limited to the latest PHP and MySQL versions.Special requirements:

• Apache web server
• PHP 4.1 or above
• PHP GD2 Enabled
• MySQL 4.1 or above
• FreeType installed
• Otherwise Operating System Independent

Add COPPA compliance for registrations. If subscription service is added for sure.
I'm sure a lot. I know the registration process is a little annoying as it takes the user through 3 anti robot checks. Some more security checks will be needed I'm sure though its come around pretty good so far. But there is plenty of cleanup to do and odd bits of code to remove. I've done what I could so far. Now I need your help to lock down features, chase down bugs and decide if this is a worth while project and should be persued further!!! Note* This is a stand alone application and requires its own database as there is presently no prefix option for tables. That will come later. As well as some CMS ports I'm sure.
