For a future release of KISGB, I plan on offering an archiving feature (for large guestbooks). I'd like to hear your opinions/suggestions for how you'd like to see this work. Thanks!

Interesting feature suggestion. I my 2 cents worth of suggestions are. It be possible to set the size of the csv file to X number of pages/X number of Kbs/Use By Date, for example, and then to write the overflow from that CSV file to another file, viewable/editable from the admin pannel and or Public Archive system.

Now that's an approach that never entered my mind! Thanks for the suggestion!

That is an interesting suggestion!
Archiving by month or something like that.
Also the possiblity of picking a few good ones and locking them to the main page so they do not expire or are scrolled in a PHP-Nuke side block like teasers:)

Great ideas !

I'd love to archive off but still allow guests to see the old entries.

My site has had a book going since 1995, it's more a groups of friends using the book to keep in touch as opposed to a real book. I'd love to archive off the entries into Years, and then hopefully have a menu, maybe drop down, of archived off CSVs that people can browse. Please keep the ability to search in those old CSV as it's invaluable when you are trying to find a particular post that's a couple of years old.
