Problem in Auto Activation for registration

I just found one possible problem Raven. I turned on the Auto activation setting and I attempted to register a new user. I kept getting this message on every name I chose for some reason.

Registration Error!


ERROR: Nickname already taken


It would not let me use any name to register. I tried different email addresses also thinking maybe it possibly was linking my original emal, but it had the same effect.

Make sure that you have the nuke_users_temp table.
Clear your cache and delete your cookies.

If that didn't fix it, please post back.
