I have several unregistered visitors doing some really weird stuff on my site. Their hanging out in the guest book and your_account sections. Just as a security measure I run a reverse DNS on them and they return no valid reverse DNS. Now, should I ban these visitors or not?

What would they be doing in "your accounts"?

I'm not sure! all I know is that I see them going from guestbook to the YourAccount areas, not signing the guestbook or registering. Rolling Eyes

Ban them any way.
If they feel the need to take measures to hide their origins I would certainly be treating them with suspicion.

I can see only one reason why someone would be 'hanging out' in those two areas - trying to harvest user data (email address etc).
