Hi...i installed the hack attemp script....when i go to test it in my browser, this message cames out:
Unable to query WhoIs information for xx.xx.xxx.xx ( my IP)
Is this right? |

Its the right error message for not returning any results.
Try it from an online proxy once to verify its not just an issue with your IP being outside of arins searchability. |

anfer can you edit your post so the title is something like "Unable to query WhoIs information for"
rather than "Is this right?"
that way if people have the same problem they are more likely to be able to find/identify a post that might be relevent.  |

Try modifying your script to use . In other words, change these lines | Code: | | "http://ws.arin.net/cgi-bin/whois.pl?queryinput=".$ipToSearch | to | Code: | | "http://www.samspade.org/t/lookat?a=".$ipToSearch |
This is just to verify that you can get whois information. The script is not made to work with Sam Spade for extracting data. |

hi....i changed that code but still not working, i try with the code that johan posted, with the html file. It send me to the html page that i made, but i dont recieve any mail. |

hi...i tried this and i get the information in my browser with both of them......but still not receiving anything whit the script. |

Since I know the mail function works, we need to determine what the problem is. Please read this post and try the mail test functions there. |
