In other words, how do I work with the security part. I remember hand installing an earlier version of Sentinel with the MD5 encryption but this version worked so well that I don't know how to work with it Smile

- How do I create a new admin
- How do I change my .htaccess password (right it's the same as my admin password which isn't the best case scenario)

Sorry if there's a FAQ, couldn't find it. Please don't hesitate to point toward information, I don't expect things to be retyped Smile

Thanks...

It is important to know whether you are using HTTPAuth or CGIAuth for the admin protection setting as the steps are a bit different.

Actually I just took a stab at it, my main problem was that I was using a French translation of the site with "admin" translated as "author"... Once I figured out the translation confusion, creating a new admin became a lot easier Smile

- Create a new admin with the "Edit Author" module in Nuke administration panel
- Scan for new admins in Sentinel
- Check that the new name is in "Admin Auth List", add a password, protect it
- Notice that the .htaccess control isn't in place anymore (?)
- Activate AdminHTTAuth again in the main Sentinel panel

Everything seems to be working fine now. Does it seem right to you? Thanks, and I hope this helps other people as well.

Sounds right since you are using HTTPAuth! Way to go!

Cheers
