I used the search feature but did not find the fix so here goes...

I just upgraded my paintball team's website from 7.8 to "RavenNuke76 v2.02.02 FULL". Everything went pretty smoothly until I got an email from one of my team mates saying he cant get into the site. When he goes to

all he gets is the message "You are using an Invalid IP to access this site!".

To my knowledge no-one else is getting this message so I was wondering if anyone had an idea of why this message is appearing. At first I thought he was using a proxy and Sentinel is blocking him, but Im not too sure.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Thank You

EDIT:

I found the source for this message. It is on line 142 of /includes/nukesentinel.php and reads:

Code:

// Invalid ip check
if(isset($bypassNukeSentinelInvalidIPCheck) AND $bypassNukeSentinelInvalidIPCheck) {;}
elseif ($nsnst_const['remote_ip']=="none") { die(_AB_INVALIDIP); }

My new question is - does anyone think there would be any potential problems if I removed the complete "elseif" statement to bypass no remote ip? or do you think this is used/important elsewhere?

Instead, I recommend loading the latest IP2Country tables. That would ensure this security is in-place and works as intended.
