I want to create a simple news mod:

Titles of the stories come up on the page by date, $informant, and number of comments!

when the title is clicked on then it goes to the whole story that is posted! and that it only shows a link if a story was posted on that date. To make this more clear! If there was no story posted on 12/26/2003 then that date would not show, and then or maybe just the first 10 stories like you can choose in the admin interface or whatever!! Think that you could help me out
